it's just a word -- for some it's charged one way or another, positive or negative, for some it's neutral. I find most of the other words used to describe female genitalia to be ugly, clinical, or anatomically inaccurate.
for many -- and I'm guessing maybe you -- there has to be this hard boundary between art and sex. "artistic" nudes need a capital "A", and we aren't supposed to admit there's sex appeal there, lest the art somehow be diminished or become "tacky, callous and disgusting."
These are just words, they have very little to do with art.
You prove it yourself, a word can mean much to one person, and very little to another.
When you get so charged up about a given word or another, you give it too much power. Use ALL the words, use them intentionally. I chose the word "pussy" because it's the only word - along with "vulva" that describes the entire organ, and it's cuter than "vulva," so it's apt, because it's a very cute pussy we're describing.
